ALCAZABA

The alcazaba is a palatial fortification in Malaga , it was built by the Hammudid dynasty in the early 11th century .
this is the best -preserverd Alcazaba in Spain . Adjacent to the entrance of the Alcazaba are remanats of a Roman theatre dating to the 1st century BC wich are undergoing restoration . Some of the roman-era materials . Were eused in the Moorish construction of the Alcazaba . Fernando and Isabel captured Malaga froom teh moors after the Giege of Malaga (1487 ) one of the longest sieges in the reconquista and raised at the "Torre Homenaje " in the inner citadel
